Learning to fly is easy
These tutorials and guides are dedicated to the memory of
Wing Commander A.M. (Mick) Parer RAAF
‘An operator who had a passion
for flight and a passion to teach’
1935 — 2005
The intent of the tutorials and guides is to improve the underpinning knowledge and thus the situational awareness, airmanship and ultimately, the safety of sport and recreational pilots (whether novice or experienced) and their passengers. The documents are generally written on the premise that no pilot of a sport and recreational aviation aircraft can know too much about aerodynamics and flight; so the more information provided, the better the result. Most tutorials provide much more detail than is necessary for novice pilots to understand; it is meant for all persons who wish to expand their knowledge without getting into the mathematics.
Aeronautics and aerodynamics are very complex subjects. Since the initial 2000–2001 publication of the various modules on the AUF/RA-Aus website there has been (and continues to be) considerable feedback from readers requesting increased coverage or seeking additional explanation of various aspects. In addition — as with other aviation categories — the causes of accidents in world-wide sport and recreational aviation remain distressingly familiar, which has contributed to a probable excessive laboring over some matters.
A word of caution. I have found that some fallacies or misconceptions are often repeated from work to work. Be wary of the person who is adamant that there is only one correct concept and that all others should be ignored. The atmosphere you fly in, and the aircraft you fly, are not bound by the opinions of mere humans.
The documents currently contain 470 000 words of text, plus illustrations. If the tutorials were published in standard textbook format the total page count would be around 950 pages. Unfortunately there are no print or PDF format versions available.
Please note: the documents are designed for consistent online reading, requiring the reader to select a display resolution and font size which produce a display of 60-70 characters or 12-14 words per line. As in a book, this is recognised as near the maximum number of words per line for good readability. It is also important that there is a wide, clear border to the left and right of the text so that the eye can’t be distracted by any extraneous material outside the border (such as a sidebar); and page overflow to the right is a no-no. The sans serif font used provides better display readabil
Will piloting in the future be so easy as finding out the best ways to drive a car in just a couple of weeks? Will people have a cessna aircraft one day as a regular automobile nowadays ?? What i imply to say is:: will aviation be a so simple thing in the future and everybody will own a cessna airplane as an automobile right now and so on)) ?? if so in how long can this occur?
Need to I find out to fly a helicopter or a plane. I actually want to find out both.

Airbus Zip wire flight control computers follow this fundamental laws: Ground Laws, Flight Laws. It was never truly talked about on us other than that the 3 primary and 2 secondary computer systems follow this standard laws.
Enlightened me.
I want to get a private aviators licence. Likewise would it help to fly on the computer system. I stay in London
Can somebody begin taking Lear Jet Lessons without finding out to first fly propeller, solitary engine Cessnas, etc? If you are a Lear pilot, how long did it take you to get a permit to fly? How expensive was the training? How difficult is it to find out for an outright novice? What about if you wanted to be a Lear pilot for a company, exclusive jet?
Would it be much easier to obtain into flying school, provided that it is easier to learn to fly a jumbo if you can fly a glider?
What I indicated by flight school is one where an airline trains you up prior to you work for them.
I ‘d entered moving before thinking about being an industrial aviator, and I do not have that much money, it has to do with ₤ 5.20 a launch and you do three launches a day so it’s not that pricey.
And I wouldn’t state gliding is “pointless” when flying a jumbo. Remember the Gimli Glider?

Just in case anybody’s baffled, when I say glider I do not indicate hang glider, or paraglider, or microlight or anything besides one of these:.

There are presently thousands of Chinese learning to become aviators here in the US. There is presently an airline advancement in China. My worry is that it wouldn’t take much to hop from an Airbus to a Mig will we be combating tomorrow the pilots we train today?
Like it or not we will most likely go to war with China in the following 15 to 20 years
Richard R wow do you have the blinders on why is China broadening their military so quickly compare the Chinese today to the Japanese around 1930 the resemblances are frightening
Offer me a tip why they can’t learn Indication Language much faster enough like they learning Spanish faster than Indication Language and why is that?

I am Deaf, that why I am asking.
And how easy is it to get a task as a commercial helicopter pilot in the UK?
I need to know if you should excel at mathematics or any various other subjects. I like to know what kinds of maneuvers you do in the aircraft (Solo and with the instructor), How simple it was to discover a task, and if you have any major financial obligation with learning to fly, trying to find advantages and disadvantages of ground training and flying, and asking yourself if personal pilots can have tattoos and piercings(i just have one facial piercing(lip).
Im looking to be a personal aviator and perhaps eventually going industrial.
I did a demo flight back in November where i in fact reached fly the airplane. (taking off, landing, correcting a stale, doing a 360 turn) im just a little confused on whether i similar to flying or if i would such as to discover the technical parts too.
I want learning to fly, I had my first trial flight today and after a few high rate tight turns and a stall turn I felt sick, virtually to the point of vomiting. How can I overcome this? Can I get past it just by getting more experience?
As the flight was in fact a birthday gift, I had the choice of doing aerobatics or not, so it had not been at first simply for the function of training

I’ve read online that an r22 is a very unforgiving airplane that’s extremely difficult to fly and dangerous. what is an alterantive that I can fly that’s simpler? I am looking into helicopters, but I don’t have a million dollars to invest on a bell that I would such as. I am 15, and I would such as to train on something that’s easy to fly and something I had think about getting.
